Garlic was known still in times of the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen. Since old times in different countries it was laid special magic emphasis. Garlic has expressed curative properties & was used in medical terms since Hippocrates till our days. Nowadays, it’s difficult to imagine a plenty of national dishes without garlic. The Southern & Western Asia is the birthplace of this so valuable bulb.
The leaders of global fresh garlic market are China with the share of more than 40%, India (2%), Egypt (1%) & Russia (1%). The Russian import volume amounts nearly 52 150 tons. China is the main garlic importer to Russia. Its share of total garlic import volume is 89% by the results of 2014.
Our company offers the products from China & Egypt. The China season lasts from August till February. The garlic from Egypt is available since February till April.

Varieties:
There are two types of garlic by seeding time: fall-seeded & spring-planted.
- The fall-seeded garlicis planted out by teeth on the eve of winter.
- The spring-planted garlic is seeded into the ground in early spring & grows permanently since spring till autumn, passing the same stages as the fall-seeded one.
There are early, middle-early, mid-season, middle-late & late varieties by the ripening period.
